Dear WSCA Colleagues,
The 2021 - 2022 school year has been going at lightning speed. Although it seems like we are constantly in a chase to keep up with time, it has been an interesting, exciting and challenging year. Amidst all of this, I implore you to take a moment to celebrate our accomplishments as an association in awareness through professional developments and celebrations. Click here to revisit some of the great accomplishments from this past year. As an association, we continue to advocate for our profession, provide professional development and have a voice at the regional and even state level.
Students are our priority. It is about them. Let us congratulate those counselors and students for their submission for the 2022 WSCA Scholarship Award. Click here to view the winning recipients.
As I enter my 2nd year of my first term as President, I ask that you submit your professional development proposals. Your feedback is crucial. Click here to submit PD proposals.
I am humbled to work alongside an amazing group of professionals in school counseling, mental health and higher education fields. See you during the 2022 - 2023 school year!
Sincerely,
David C. Oroza, M.S. (He/Him/His) School Counselor Provisional Holder (2021-2026) President (July 1, 2021 - June 30, 2023)
